Squareshot, a leading e-commerce photography provider, required a seamless platform to manage their end-to-end product photography process. I developed a multi-functional solution combining Webflow, Bubble.io, and Airtable. Webflow was utilized for creating a responsive and visually appealing marketing site, while Bubble.io powered the client portal for ordering, tracking, and reviewing photo sessions. Airtable served as the backend database for managing client orders, photographer assignments, and progress tracking. Key features included dynamic order forms, automated workflow management, real-time order status updates, and a review system for clients to approve or request edits. The platform streamlined operations, reduced manual tasks, and delivered an enhanced user experience for clients and photographers alike.
Challenges
The integration of three distinct platforms—Webflow, Bubble.io, and Airtable—required a cohesive architecture to ensure smooth data flow and synchronization. Automating workflows for order assignments and photographer scheduling was complex, as it involved custom Airtable scripts and Bubble.io workflows. The real-time updates for order tracking and review required optimizing performance, particularly during high user activity. Building a user-friendly interface for clients to manage their orders while ensuring robust functionality was another significant challenge. Despite these hurdles, the project was successfully delivered, transforming Squareshot’s operations and providing an efficient platform for their growing client base.
